‘’I will Transform this Country’’ Sam Sumana Assures
The Presidential Candidate for the Coalition for Change (C4C), Chief Alhaji Samuel Sam Sumana has assured the people of Sierra Leone for a positive transformation if he emerges as President in the forthcoming general election of March 7th 2018.
Sam Suma made this assurance at the National Electoral Commission (NEC) headquarters on Thursday 25th January after going through his nomination and received his provisional Certificate.
He described the process as transparent, credible and satisfactory and explained plans about his aspiration if becomes President come March 7th, 2018. He added that; he will focus on the transformation of the country’s socio-economic growth through it social sector and ensure good governance and transparency in promoting democracy.
Chief Sam Sumana promised to ensure discipline, dependency as well as transparency with the optimism to ensure equal opportunities, women’s empowerment economic growth, good health service delivery, quality education amongst others.
He expressed his dissatisfaction over the eleven years rebel war which he said was as a result of bad governance among other things and promised that if he becomes President, he will ensure that those gaps that were responsible for the civil conflict be addressed.
The Former Vice President Chief Sam Sumana stated that his priorities as president will be provision of good quality health Service delivery, quality education, uplift the status of the disable, and improve on agriculture among others.
