ADP Running Mate in blanket promises
Haja Isata Abdulai Kamara (in photo), Running Mate for the Alliance Democratic Party (ADP) has disclosed that an educational loan will be made available for all universities and colleges across the country, thereby broadening the opportunity of the less privileged to acquire university education, if her party emerges victorious in the 7th March polls, however she failed to disclose where her government will generate the resources to finance this blanket promise.
She added that if a nation attempts to destroy education, the said nation is aiming to destroy everything, hence the need to revamp the educational system to enable the nation redeem its ancient land mark in the sub region and the world at large.
The imparter of knowledge with more than two decades of teaching experience made this disclosure on Africa Young Voices (AYV) This Day Television program with journalist and presenter Samuel Wise Bangura.
She added that education is her passion and teaching is part of her, pointing out that her father was an Islamic teacher and died as an Islamic teacher but confessed that she was not prepared for such political position describing it as a big shock.
Haja Isata A. Kamara said she has what it takes to be the Vice President of Sierra Leone because she has the requisite knowledge and experience coupled with her experience in the United Nations (UN) system and pledged to boost jobs and business opportunities.
