Size Man as Koroma’s ADC
Police sources has confirmed to Sierra Express Media that the Inspector General of police will soon unveil Superintendent Ibrahim Koroma alias Size Man as the new Aide de Camp (ADC) to serve under president Ernest Bai Koroma. Superintendent Koroma will be the third presidential ADC to serve under president Koroma’s government since he took power in 2007, with the two predecessors meeting mysterious death whilst in active service.
Superintendent Koroma has already carved a niche for himself both at home and abroad. He is said to be dedicated to duty, firm focus, and result oriented endeavours. Superintendent Koroma it is said has been very instrumental in the investigation of high profile cases at CID Headquarters; currently serving as the Head of Anti Organized Crime Unit at CID Headquarters in Freetown.
He is known by fellow officers to be modest, smart and God fearing in the discharge of his duty; having respect for the rule of law as he always condemns human rights abuse. Police Head Quarters sources say his appointment will go along side he being promoted to Chief Superintendent of police, a promotion which has long overdue as most of his contemporaries has become chief superintendent of police.
Meanwhile, Commandant of police training school (PTS) assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sovula has been promoted to Superintendent of police, his deputy was also elevated to Assistant Superintendent of police. Several senior police officers who preferred anonymity have condemned Inspector General of Police, Brima Acha Kamara for the way and manner police promotion has been released in haphazardly manner. This they say will lead to nursing malice and implanting bad blood among senior police officers who feel left out and aggrieved.
They informed Sierra Express Media that Acha Kamara will just wake up in the morning and pick on anybody and that you are promoted to the next rank without going through their records or file. Although a report adds that more promotion will be out next week for senior and other ranks in the Sierra Leone police.
