Over Deportation of 5,800+ Sierra Leoneans Asylum Network Raises Concern

Latest reports reaching this medium from the Sierra Leone Network of X-Asylum Seekers has confirmed that a total of 5,800 Sierra Leoneans are to be deported to the country from the United States of America, Canada, and Germany, among other European countries any time soon.

Speaking at an executive consultative meeting with several Human Rights Organizations at his office on 54 Wellington Street, Freetown, the Chairman of the Sierra Leone of X- Asylum Seekers, Abdulai Daramy expressed deep concern over this latest and ugly development from the United States and other European countries.

He noted that out of his experience as a deportee along with other colleagues, they came together and formed the Network of X-Asylum Seekers to support deportees.
