Corruption Stinks In Sierra Leone – Investors Are Running Away
Sierra Express Media (SEM) can reliably state that a good number of serious and genuine investors have lost all confidence of investing in the country due to the stinking and endemic corruption that has engulfed the nook and crannies of the country. According to competent sources, many of the country’s investors are now running away from the country due to the above mentioned reason.
One among many of them is Frank Timis who had invested billions of dollars in the country since president Koroma came to power in 2007 but has lost the confidence of investing in the country due to the endemic corruption that has cost him billions of dollars of his investments. Frank Timis, who has invested in African Minerals and Timis Mining Corporation but corruption from government officials has seen him lost all of those investments and has become very bitter on making any further investment in the country. According to allegation, Frank Timis mining License was revoked illegally from him and transferred to SL Mining as corrupt government officials connived with Gerald Metals to dupe him.
 Many other investors have also gone away due to the persistent duping meted to them by Sierra Leoneans especially government officials with the country’s corrupt network system doing nothing to salvage their situations.
