Constituents Disown Non Performing MP
Over the past wasted years, there has been a mix feeling among electorates against their Member of Parliament for allegedly not performing the task he was voted for in office.
The non performing representative who has not only been disowned by his subjects but has also abandoned his area of authority as a result of the frequent sarcastic remarks he often received from the disgruntled electorates that have vowed to treat the ruling All Peoples Congress (APC) party through the ballot box if they attempt to award symbol to the said Legislator.
The less inspiring APC Law maker as described by his subjects, Honorable Alhassan Kamara (in photo) of Constituency 096 in Calaba Town, Orugu axis in the western area Freetown has also expressed interest to contest for Parliamentary symbol in other constituency.
Honorable Kamara who was chased out of the community by some jobless young people who claimed to have gained nothing throughout his tenure demanded that he should explain how he has been utilizing the Constituency Development Funds over the years. The MP is also accused of abandoning them immediately he was elected.
“We are surprise to see our representative visiting us some time ago with some hired media mercenaries to clean his dirty image after his name started appearing on front pages of newspapers” the disgruntled voters stated adding that during that untimely visit, the MP distributed some exercise books, pens and pencils to few lucky pupils for the fact that the materials were not enough.
During that meeting, they said, their representative promised that he would ensure electric poles are erected for inhabitants of Kola Tree and Mount Zion in order for them to equally enjoy the country’s booming electricity distribution.
They mentioned that the MP offended even the dead by allegedly grabbing a portion of land put aside for cemetery purpose. They therefore cautioned APC big guns to be very sensitive when it comes to awarding symbol which they said should be given to more competent aspirants who may have the interest of people at heart.
Speaking to Honorable Alhassan Kamara, he said, the just concluded De-amalgamation process will not allow him to stand under the same constituency and denied knowledge of grabbing cemetery land which he claimed located at Mayenkineh in Calaba Town but not at the disputed land at Kola Tree. However, Hon. Alhassan Kamara also expressed interest to go in for Parliamentary symbol in other constituency.
