Iye Jabbie’s new name

Aye Jabbie, now Iye Kabbah has gained momentum in her speed to make sure her name becomes part of the greats in the country under the SLPP.

IYE Jabbie was instrumental in the past presidential elections for her role in the beating of Sahr Tollie, a youth leader now a councilor, and tearing his scalp open. Councillor Tollie was nearly killed when thugs, armed with automatic rifles and dressed like rebels under the order of Iye Jay beat him with gun butts because he was a member of the APC, the then opposition.

Iye Jabbie later fled from Kono in the middle of the night when the APC was defeated although no one was pursuing her. Remember the verse in the bible?

However as there is a lack of a strong memory in the mind set of the average Salone politician, Iye Jabbie, aka Kabbah has now become a democrat, making enough noise to show the world that she is still active in her new found political career.

“We are waiting for Iye Jabbie to come to Koidu Town and tell us if her own manner of politics is to go about beating people,” said one Koidu resident who also suffered at the hands of the SLPP woman and is still nursing the grudge of receiving a beating at the hands of armed civilians claiming to be Iye Jays security.

There is a need for a special court to try those taking part in election violence during campaigns. It is all part of democracy. Leave no stones upturn.
