As Criminal Hide outs Exposed Assassination attempt on Bruski Fails
A Police Commander who preferred anonymity has whispered to Sierra Express Media (SEM) that the famous aspirant for the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Presidency, Sanusi Bruski Kargbo was allegedly attacked at Mountain Cut by hired thugs but missed target to kidnap and assassinate him during the unfortunate riot between the Fullah Town and Mountain City Football Clubs.
According to reliable information from the horse’s mouth, the ugly event was an organized crime masterminded by ill motivated Sierra Leoneans who want to grab power through the back door by conniving with other unscrupulous Football loving fans to cause mayhem not only against peaceful citizens but damn the propose congress which is supposed to be held this August.
Our sources intimated that thugs who were about to invade Bruski were spotted displaying machetes, old broken bottles and other offensive weapons at 15 Mountain Cut and one of the houses at Lawson Lane within the same vicinity in Freetown.
It could be recalled that early this month, Sanusi Bruski declared for the SLFA Presidency at Victoria Park with backing of influential Football stakeholders in the country. Bruski’s declaration ceremony was attended by many Football stakeholders who demonstrated their willingness to kick out President Isha Johansen from contesting for the SLFA Presidency which has been put on hold by the world Football governing body, FIFA.
Since the first Football female President, Isha Johansen was elected, no premier league where influential young and energetic players may be picked up has played. As a result the Football stakeholders have decided to constitutionally unseat her and allow a man like Bruski who is readily willing to spend his personal financial resources for the elevation of the game nationally and internationally.
According to Football loving fans, Bruski who is the current Chairman for Eastern Lions is figured out by Football stakeholders to head SLFA not only for his generosity but for his positive attitude towards encouraging young players to always grow love for the game.
As Aisha Johansson is presently occupying the SLFA Presidency illegally, the Presidential hopeful, Sanusi Bruski has called on stakeholders and fans not to take the law in their hands but they should allow the law to take its course on perpetrators of the ugly incident
Speaking to this medium after the bloody incident, Assistant Superintendent of Police attached at the Eastern Police, Osman Kamara explained that the Fullah Town Football Club won the Central One Football Association (COFA) Gala Competition two months ago adding that the Fullah Town Football Club officially writes the Eastern Police Station to give the clearance so that they can jubilate over their victory against Abacha Football Team.
In that regard, the Police Commander nodded that they agreed to grant them permission to adding that as an operation officer, he provided security to escort them during the procession.
He narrated that the procession started peacefully from Mountain Cut, Macauley Street down to Circular Road and connects to Pa Demba Road down to Siaka Stevens Street, Up Gloucester Street, Goderich Street, Fourah Bay Road, Savage Square to Kissy Road without any attack until they went back Mountain Cut where heavy tension aroused between the two counterparts.
