Sierra Leone’s infrastructural development continues under President Ernest Bai Koroma 

Much development has taken place during President Ernest Bai Koroma’s terms in office.  Rebuilding of highways in and around Freetown and filter roads to adjoining cities have eased transportation issues.  As these main arteries are developed, we are seeing a further increase in industries being established in Sierra Leone, and a swell in tourism.

Although there is still a mass of work to be done to reinvent Sierra Leone as the “Athens of Africa,” we are on the right path with President Koroma’s legacies.  Many colleges, hospitals, government buildings as well as Lungi airport have received a well deserved overhaul, and an improvement in standards is being set.

Let’s hope this development continues in the years to come!
