Melron Nicol-Wilson Supports JFK’s Bold Initiative
Young legal luminary Melron Nicol-Wilson, head of Malaika Chambers has demonstrated his support towards the pledge made by Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara to members of Sweizzy Jewellers in Freetown.
It could be recalled that sometime last year, the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara commonly known as JFK, visited Sweizzy Jewellers along Howe Street – Lightfoot Boston Street junction in Freetown.
Apart from the auspicious invitation extended to JFK, he was surprisingly crowned Godfather and Goodwill Ambassador for Sweizzy Jewellers; the first of its kind award presented by a recognized and highly appreciated public business entity like Sweizzy Jewellers.
Speaking on Monday 13th February, 2017 in his chambers to executives of Sweizzy Jewellers Alphonso Blake – President and Chairman, in the presence of his Chief Adviser Amadu Mansaray and the former president and chairman, Karim Daboh, erudite lawyer Melron Nicol-Wilson disclosed that he is a staunch believer in JFK’s dream and that he is willing and ready to support JFK’s vision. He went on to say that he is very happy to realize that JFK had pledged some amount of money towards educational drives of members of Sweizzy Jewellers.
He added that he is contributing Le10 million towards JFK’s noble pledge to support educational pursuits among members of Sweizzy Jewellers. He called on the membership to always hold JFK in high repute because JFK is among the very few people who have compassion for their fellow Sierra Leoneans.
In his response, the President Sweizzy Jewellers, Alphonso Blake thanked lawyer Melron Nicol-Wilson, adding that he (lawyer Melron Nicol-Wilson) has added value to what they thought of JFK. He promised that the money would be used for the intended purpose and that he also extends thanks and appreciation to JFK.
