JFK excels again in Sierra Leone
Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara (in photo), commonly called JFK, has recently been awarded the ‘Excellence in Leadership’ award by the African Achievers Award.
The award is in recognition of his excellence in leading the affairs of the Justice Sector in Sierra Leone. The award has over 30 categories.
In another development, the JFK Foundation donated foodstuffs to different mosques spanning Lumley Grassfield to Brima Lane in the east of Freetown.
The donation was done at Lumley Community Center. Representatives from the various mosques were represented at the ceremony which attracted government officials and other stakeholders and involved the donation of ‘sunakati’ which is one of the most important pillars during the Ramadan month. Over twenty mosques have reportedly benefitted from this benevolent gesture of the JFK Foundation.
The donation was done on behalf of JFK. Prezo Wahab delivered the keynote address on behalf of JFK. Egartine Bangura was Chairman of the occasion while Fatmata Fonti Mansaray delivered the vote of thanks.
It should be recalled that JFK ever since he assumed the seat of Attorney General and Minister of Justice has been working overtime to eradicate the slothfulness which had invaded the Justice Sector. He has succeeded in many areas where his predecessors failed.
He is on record for being the most respected and most viable Attorney General-cum politician who has changed the face of the Justice Sector for the better more than has ever been seen before.
JFK is indeed a man to be reckoned with at the next Presidential election!
