Life Channel Ministry holds 1st Sunday service in May

The Life Channel Ministry (LCM) at No 47 Fort Street off Circular Road in Freetown on Sunday 1st May, 2016 organized its first service of the month with the theme: “The Preserver of Men from the Book of 2nd Samuel Chapter 22 Verse 24.”

Delivering his sermon, the Pastor-in-Charge, Pastor Felix O. Akinola, said a man should be ready to make sacrifices through which one would be able to worship God.

Pastor Akinola maintained that the Keeper, the Protector, the Defender and the Guardian has said that Judea is a Nation of good people that those that are engaged in wrongdoings cannot go there.

He added that man shall put his trust in God and that if he places his confidence in Jesus Christ, he will see the wonders of God and the preserving power of God when he puts his trust in Him.

Pastor Akinola said by serving the living God, you will see His preservation of power by protecting you from sickness, problem, hardship, tribulation and all other bad things because the Lord preserves His people.

The Pastor stressed that it is important we give Jesus Christ the ultimate place in our lives so that he will bless and protect us but we should not believe in idol worshiping.

He added that when you are in Jesus, you will enjoy a lot of privileges in him and that when someone fights the children of God, they are fighting God.

Pastor Akinola advised man not to deceive himself by going to ‘Juju’ men for protection, but to God who will save us from the evil plans of the devil.

He told the congregation that these are the days when every man needs preservation from Jesus Christ, and that the devil will attack you with poverty and a lot of difficulties, but Jesus will make you untouchable and preserve you from evil men.

Pastor Akinola also told the worshipers that their bodies are the temple of Jesus Christ, adding that when they are living with their lives without Jesus Christ, the enemy will succeed in deceiving their lives.

“God will never leave them nor forsake them and that He will be with them,” he stressed.

Pastor Akinola concluded his sermon by calling on all and sundry to join them worship as God has a lot for His people who come closer to Him in a form of worship and that He will not let them go the wrong way.
