PPRC ends annual review retreat
The Political Parties Registration Commission (PPRC) on Monday 8th February 2016 commenced a two-day annual review retreat at the Commission’s headquarters, Tower Hill in Freetown.
In her welcome address, the Acting Admin and Human Resource Manager, Mrs. Hawa Davies, said the review would be used as a platform for staff to re-examine the Commission’s weakness and redirect its work.
Declaring the purpose of the meeting, the Acting Mediation and Programmes Manager, Josephine P.M. Lebbie, reminded staff of the Commission’s’ role and said the two-day meeting would look at programmes in the Commission’s strategic given the deliverables for 2016.
In her statement, the Acting Registrar, Mrs. Zainab Umu Moseray, said the review was unique as a major operational task in chatting the way forward with a view to meeting the organizational goals and earning the confidence of political parties and other stakeholders.
Training of Political Parties Leadership on organizational efficiency formed the highpoint of discussions in day one.
The retreat brought together staff from Bo, Kenema, Makeni, Kono and Freetown.
