MP Donates 6kva Generator to Citizen Radio

Presenting the generator, Hon. Abdul Salam Kanu stated that the donation has always been his dream as the radio station is close to his heart. Constituency 100 hosts the radio station that is, out of the MP’s domain, but as an ardent listener, thought it fit to donate to the station.
Hon. Abdul Salam Kanu said the donation was not only for the station neither the management but for the purpose of continuously educating inform and entertaining the listener in the various communities in and out of the country.
The MP recalled that he had also provided money for refurbishment of the station but realized that it was not enough and therefore pledged to continue assisting the management of the station for a face lift, adding, “the station is very strategic and keen to national development”.
Constituency Chairman, Abu Bakarr Kabbah commended the MP for the donation, stating that the donation would go a long way reiterating that the APC always delivers on its promises.
Deputy Station Manager, Alie Bai Kamara said would alone could not tell how happy he was to receive such a gift and therefore commended the Hon. for his generosity aimed at the enhancement of the media, a contributor to national development.
Alie Bai Kamara recounted how difficult the station has been through due to incessant power cut and promised the MP, the Constituency executive to relay the message to the proprietor who would be grateful for the donation.
