Constituency 107 women declare support for APC Kowa
Thousands of supporters and sympathizers of the All Peoples Congress (APC) party especially women have registered their determination to vote massively for Mr. Francis Kowa in the forthcoming bye election in Constituency 107, west of Freetown.
The diehard supporters demonstrated their commitment during the commissioning ceremony of four pipe borne water taps for the use of the community at the Obama Point Entertainment Centre on Lewis Street in Freetown.
Speaking to the mammoth crowd at the meeting, the Proprietor of Obama Point Entertainment Centre, Mr. Frank Abula Samura, called on the supporters of all former aspirants to throw their support behind Mr. Kowa because, according to him, wining the bye-election will not only elevate the Member of Parliament, but it will also further add to the party representation on Parliament.
In his statement, the Western Regional Chairman for APC, Captain Alieu Pat Sowe intimated that Mr. Francis Kowa is the recommended candidate to President Ernest Bai Koroma who formally stepped down for the late Hon. Oshor Williams and has now been given the opportunity to succeed him.
He called on the constituents to vote for Mr. Francis Kowa who, he said is a very fortunate gentleman with great potentials.
Speaking to the happy supporters, Mr. Kowa said he was very frateful for the show of love that they have displayed on him since he declared his intention to contest for the position.
He thanked Hon. Alieu Pat Sow and the host, Mr. Frank Abula Samura, and all those who have worked with him and continue to support him to win the election.
