For “illegal” expulsion ghost teachers drag Minkailu Bah to court

During my long dream last night, our Education Minister, Minkailu Bah, was in the graveyard high court, dragged there by thousands of ghost teachers who accused him of illegally expelling them from the government payroll where they have been living comfortably for decades, making their status legal by virtue of long existence.

“Who the hell is this Minkailu Bad minister to come from the blues and just evict us from our fatherland and motherland?” the irate ghost teachers asked. “He has violated our right as first class citizens of the Payroll that is why we have decided to bring him before this court of the ghosts to answer to two count charge of unlawful expulsion and destruction of livelihood, contrary to the laws of the ghost country” the teachers told the bench of fierce-faced judges.

Prosecuting the matter was a very Senior Principal while Minkailu Bah was defended by Anti-Corruption (ACC) Commissioner-General, Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara.

While defending his client, ACC Kamara argued that the illicit congestion of the ghost teachers on the payroll has been largely responsible for the mass unemployment of teachers who graduate from colleges as they have no space of the ghost-congested vouchers.

“My lord these ghost teachers have been defrauding the country huge sums of money every blessed month, enriching themselves, their principals and head teachers at the detriment of the masses, so, my client has a moral justification to evacuate them from the vouchers to give space to incoming teachers and to prevent state money from being defrauded,” Kamara submitted.

The matter was adjourned to February, 2018, while Minkailu Bah was granted bail on condition that he should approve and pay all the volunteer teachers, pay all school fees subsidies on time and judiciously utilize the 23million USD meant for the revitalization of our devastated educational system. As Minkailu was walking out of the court, I woke up and realized that it was all a long dream.
