The construction of a new hotel is part of the government’s clarion call for all Sierra Leoneans living abroad to come and invest in their native land. Since the outbreak of the Ebola Virus disease, thousands of tourists fled the country. I t is with the fervent hope that as the country is recording zero cases; the new hotel will help attract more tourists.

Eric Komba Koedoyoma of Constituency 027, Kono District commended Dr. Sahr Bonnie Marah for taking the bold step in pouring his money to boost the country’s tourism industry. He pointed out that it is good to have such a Sierra Leonean investing his hard-earned money in his native land. Hon. Koedoyoma confirmed that the hotel facilities are to international standards, and added that this will help to attract more investors in the country. He thanked Dr. Marah and his wife for a laudable venture and called on all to patronize with the hardworking Sierra Leonean to bring in more investments for the benefit of the nation.
Addressing his family, friends, hotel staff and well-wishers that graced the occasion, Dr. Sahr Bonnie Marah said it takes the blessing of God to have such an investment. “I did this because we as Sierra Leoneans owe responsibility to our families and nation,” he said, and added that he is extremely happy to see that after living in the USA he has something to point at as his personal investment in his country. “It is a Sierra Leone owned and managed hotel that employs over 25 people,” he said.
