NATCOM Chairman implores SierraTel to go countrywide with landlines
March 20, 2015 -At the prestigious Wusum Hotel, Makeni, in the northern region, the no-nonsense newly appointed NATCOM Chairman, Momoh K. Konte implored “the mama pa Salone telecommunication business to go countrywide with their landline initiative with modem capability.
Konte stated, ‘Freetown already enjoys the comfort of a landline, and here we are today in Makeni to launch the same service. I hope the whole country will be soon be able to enjoy the same provision.
SierraTel has plans for the cities of Bo and Kono on their agenda, however, Konte stated that the company should not just focus on populations but rather geographical progress.
Konte wrapped up his speech saying, ‘I hope this landline nationwide expansion comes sooner than later.’
The audience was extremely animated by NATCOM chairman’s comments on SierraTel providing a nationwide service.
