Sweissy Jewelers donate anti-Ebola items

Sweissy Jewelers young indigenous Sierra Leonean businessmen dealing with jewelry in Freetown, have donated anti-Ebola items worth over Le 100 million to the fight and eradication of the deadly Ebola virus from the country.

Speaking to a cross section of members and the media past Friday at the Sweissy grounds, the Chairman of Sweissy Jewelers, Mr. Alphonso Blake, called on the public to fight this menace that has accounted for many lives. He disclosed that out of their meager resources they have purchased 7 buckets, hand gloves, Chlorine and other anti-Ebola items to complement government’s effort in fighting this dangerous disease.

Mr. Blake maintained that his organization deals with different classes of people at Sweissy to transact their business, so it is very important to support preventive measures to avoid the spread of the virus. He informed the media that it is the responsibility of his organization to support this type of sensitization to save Sierra Leonean souls from dying but stressed that they need funds from government and that they only did this donation out of their meager resources which he said is not enough.

He called for unity, oneness and sincerity in fighting this menace so as to save more Sierra Leoneans from contracting the virus.
