Atlanta Habitat For Humanity Partners with working families and communities to build affordable, quality homes

The Atlanta Habitat For Humanity has built and renovating more than 1,300 homes primarily in the city of Atlanta and Fulton County, empowering and improving the quality of life for over 5,ooo individual family members, said Ashley Keyes, Marketing and Communications Manager .

This was disclosed to journalists participating in this year’s U.S Commitment to Africa Reporting tour in Atlanta Georgia, USA, during a working visit to the site.

Madam Keyes emphasized that since the habitat was formed in 1983, as a non profit organization, they have engaged in housing development in the city, providing affordable homes ,enlisting and encouraging volunteers from all faiths, races, and economic background to provide hands on construction labor.

She said the habitat builds in Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, South Africa, Lesotho, Madagascar, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, and Ethiopia, adding that it offers a wide range of sponsorship levels to meet any budget and group size, and organizations are encouraged to partner with others to meet the full cost of a build.

Marketing and Communications Manager, Ashley Keyes expressed her Organization’s commitment to work with other countries in Africa, and of which she told Journalists that its takes the habitat seven incredible days to build a home.

Journalists later took photographs of staffs, both male and female, working together, in providing homes for the people of Atlanta Georgia, in the United States of America.
