Doubting the African Youth Movement

The African Youth Movement (AYM) has been operating in Mattru Jong, Bonthe District for quite some time now but its modus operandi (mode of operations) has left me wondering whether the organization is serious about developing the youths of that area as it continues to claim.

I am wondering because the AYM has already started deceiving the youths of Mattru Jong by making a series of vain promises one of which is the development of the Moseleh Beach.

I was an eyewitness when, some years ago, the AYM galvanized the youths to clear the Moselleh Beach, promising faithfully ton transform the beach into a paradise but as I am writing, the beach remains a nightmare.

Please go to Mattru Jong and behold the ancient dilapidated office AYM is occupying on rent with the big name it is carrying, then you will realize that the organization is not serious about development. Charity begins at home; if the AYM cannot develop or construct its own office, I wonder how it is going to develop the youths of Mattru many of whom remain unemployed and unemployable although the AYM has been making a moon shine of promises to create jobs for them.

I am beginning to suspect that this organization may be a camouflage, established in the name of youth development but engaged in something ulterior. Otherwise, it should not just be telling lies with impunity with charging of mobile phones and hawking cold water as its capital business.
