Judgment day for presidential nominees

Sierra Leone Parliament will today decide whether or not to approve the following presidential nominees: Momodu Kargbo, the proposed Governor, Bank of Sierra Leone, Maya Moiwa Kaikai, the nominated Resident Minister, East, Hassan Barrie, the nominated Minister of Energy 2, Albert Collier, a proposed board member of the Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority, Andrew Keili, a proposed member of the Sierra Leone Electricity and Water Regulatory Commission and Abdul Pa-Bamp Yorneh Kamara, a nominated member of the Sierra Leone Electricity and Water Regulatory Commission.

The Chairman of the Appointment Committee, Ibrahim Rashim Bundu of constituency 052 in Port Loko, who doubles as Majority Leader and government Business, past Friday told the nominees that they will be approved or not based their documents presented to the Committee and as well as information gathered from the 6.1 million population in the country.
