Seychelles 27-man contingent set to leave Kampala camp.

The Indian Ocean Island national team will be heading to Freetown, Sierra Leone with a 27-man contingent after their 1-0 defeat to Uganda Cranes on Friday at the KCCA Stadium in Lugogo.  (Photo: Seychelles squad that lost in Kampala)

The match was a build-up international friendly ahead of their trip to Freetown for the first leg encounter for Morocco 2015.

Head Coach Ulric Mathiot told press men that their defeat to Uganda will not in any way destabilize team spirit against Sierra Leone.

We lost by a slim margin against one of the best in teams in Cecafa, we’ll look ahead and take the positive side, he said.

Seychelles will take on Sierra Leone at the Siaka Steven Stadium on 19th of July 2014, the winner over the two legs will join Ivory Coast, Cameroon, DR Republic of Congo in group D.

The group matches will be played 5-6 and 10 September; 10-11 and 15 October; 14-5 and 19 November 2014.
