Al–Hilal in talks with Simbo
Sierra Leonean Central Defender David Simbo is in a critical position to choose whether to play for his club AL Hilal in their Champions league fixture away to TP Mazembe and Vital Club or his country in their nations cup qualifiers on the 19th July 2014.
According to Simbo they will be traveling to Congo on the 16th of July 2014 were they will camp there for two weeks as they will be playing both TP Mazembe and Vital Club in the CAF Champions League fixture starting from the 27th July with vita club and the 9th August with TP Mazembe.
Simbo who is a key player for both club and country has told Sierraexpressmedia Prince Scott that he is willing to play for his country at anytime but this is a big decision he will make before the end of this weekend.
According to Al Hilal Brazilian Coach David is one of our best players in the team and the best person to secure our defense as his presence at the club has brought a great relief in that department of the team, we are just pleading to his country to allow David to play for us, noting that we are aware that he is highly needed by Sierra Leone.
Meanwhile Simbo has been named in Leone Stars 25 man Squad that will face Seychelles on the 19th July.
