Sankoh complete Khazar Lankaran Move
Sierra Leone international Alfred Sankoh has finally on Wednesday 9th July 2014 made a mega move to Azerbaijan Premier club Khazar Lankaran after days of tense negotiations.
Sankoh made this move from Turkish first division club TT FF First League club Şanlıurfaspor. Were he made 39 appearance and scoring 3 goals during his short spell at the club which he join in 2012 from Norwegian side Stromgodset,
The deal is worth closed to $1million dollars in wages, including add-on.
The Azerbaijan club was desperate to land Sankoh and finally a deal was done after meeting Sankoh’s buyout clause from Turkish club Sanliurfsapor.
‘I am very happy because I want to move forward in my career; Sankoh told Sierraexpressmedia.
‘I am very impressed with the way everything goes, and looks forward to meet my team mates in Slovenia training camp.
Sankoh 25 is an attacking minded midfielder with lots of international experience; however he has been named in Sierra Leone head coach John Mackenstry 25 squad to face Seychelles on the 19th July in the 2015 African Nation Cup Qualifiers.
