Ten Days Parrot Will Dance

The great Professor Parrot has made a thorough research on the days that will make him dance in this country called Sierra Leone where normal things are abnormal and vice versa. It pleases the erudite bird to share his findings with his countrymen both at home and abroad. Here are the days Parrot will become lord of the dance, dancing in the moon and the stars and the sun.

1^st day – The day the good governance program will stop saying the unpleasant truth; just wait after the two months embargo and see what will happen; you will hear truths that you have never heard.

2^nd day – The day the NPA blackouts will vamoose forever; when this supposedly rich nation will begin to enjoy constant power supply.

3^rd day – The day street traders will finally vacate Abacha Street which has been transformed into a permanent market place despite the series of operations launched to get them of the street.

4^th day – The day the APC will win majority votes in the South-eastern region where the SLPP has become another religion the voting against which is tantamount to blasphemy.

5^th day – The day the SLPP will win overwhelmingly in the North-WUTETEH day not included. The APC has become another religion in the north where it is a taboo to vote against the red sun party.

6^th day – The day the cookery queues will disappear; the cut throat price of rice has boomed the cookery trade as many homes can just not afford to put pots on fire.

7^th day – The day the main opposition SLPP will stop quarrelling; this party which fought so hard to bring peace to Sierra Leone has now become a palaver pot. God bless our democracy!!

8^th day – The day Sierra Leone will occupy the acme of the UN index the nadir of which the country has been occupying for centuries with all the Diamonds, Gold and other precious minerals.

9^th day – The day our police officers will stop collecting at the check points; 2014 much-advertized increment of their salaries has just worsened them.

10^th day – The day Education Minister, Minkailu Bah, will pay all the thousands of unpaid teachers who have been teaching for decades without pay and pay all the long standing subsidy and girl child refund arrears.
