Foreign Diplomats raise concern for Victor Dumanski

Speaking to Sierra Express Media on condition of anonymity over the weekend, several diplomats have raised concern over the unfair treatment meted out to Victor Dumanski, a Ukrainian-Sierra Leonean national by the judicial system in Sierra Leone.

According to them, His Excellency the President needs to do more to improve the system otherwise foreign investors will soon start leaving the country as a result of the government’s inability to protect their investment in the country, citing the case of Victor Dumanski whose $2 million house was taken from him wrongly, with His Excellency deliberately or otherwise keeping blind eyes on the matter to an extent that one begins to wonder whether the government is serious in the fight against corruption.

Foreign diplomats are hereby calling on the President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma to act fast on the letter being sent to him by Victor Dumanski. “I was not informed about the verdict and I was also deprived of my right to an appeal,” Victor Dumanski said, in tears.

The Diplomats added that since Dumanski was evicted from his $2 million house over a year ago he has become devastated, stressing that he is much bitter against the unfair treatment received in Sierra Leone; adding that such will not happen in Ukraine, England, America etc., but only in Sierra Leone which he said is very much disgraceful.
