Deputy Mines Minister, an exemplary of H.E. Agenda for Prosperity
As Sierra Leone joins the rest of the world in commemorating the 1976 Soweto Massacre in South Africa, deputy Minister of Mines, Hon. Abdul Ignosi Koroma (in photo), has assured all Sierra Leoneans to join hands in building our children’s future for the sake of tomorrow’s generation.
The able Deputy Minister made this pronouncement on June 16th this year in the “Blackmans London”- Port Loko district. According to the deputy Hon. Minister, he said they are proud to get a God fearing leader like H.E. President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma who is championing issues across the country including child rights, health and protection.
The Hon Minister pointed out that Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma is passionate about empowering the youths of this country through skills training and the creation of job opportunities for Sierra Leoneans. He disclosed that as a responsible government they have taken infrastructural development to every part of the country because it is government vision to ensure that Sierra Leone becomes the “Envy of the Sub-region”.
He said that all related developmental issues across the country are geared towards ensuring that the lives of Sierra Leoneans be exemplary and continued that developmental programs are not only words to hear but also to reckon with. He furthered that as a Deputy Minister, he has a firm cordial relationship with his boss Hon. Minkailu Mansaray who he said is presently out of the country in accomplishing their mission and representing Mama Salone.
He called on all Sierra Leoneans to put Sierra Salone above all else and also called on all peace loving citizens to join hands in pursuing the courses and concerns of all Sierra Leoneans. Hon. Abdul Ignosi Koroma pointed out that as a Ministry they are championing issues that seek the best interests of Mama Salone.
