Morris – Mr. Violator comes out strong on Ebola campaign
One of Salone’s finest young artists, Morris, popularly known as Mr. Violator, has released a single hit song on the deadly Ebola virus which is ravaging parts of the country.
Speaking in an interview at Salone Jmaboree Siaka Steven street office, Mr. Violator said that he deemed it necessary to join in the campaign on sensitization of the deadly virus in the country as part of his patriotic duty to pass the information about the disease.
The song contains messages on the signs and symptoms of an infected victim and possible preventive measures. He called on everybody to take the Ebola sensitization campaign serious.
Morris has also joined the global #BRINGBACKOURGIRLS campaign of over 200 Nigerian school girls abducted by the Boko Haram Islamist terrorist group over two months ago.
The artist released a song on the title: “Bring back our Girls”, which he says he did on behalf of Sierra Leone for the people of Nigeria and in a show of gratitude for the support ”Nigerians gave to us in bringing our civil war to an end.”
Mr. Violator admonished all Sierra Leoneans and Nigerians to go grab their copies of the CD free of charge at strategic cassette selling places in Freetown or watch the video on Youtube at #Bringbackourgirls /calfromSierraLeone.
The young artist said the call for the release of the Nigerian girls is a global concern and that everybody must add his or her voice to the call.
To add to his patriotic duties, Mr. Violator is working on lunching his “More Care Foundation” which is intended to embark on a massive sensitization to school going children on basic civil rights duties and responsibilities. The foundation will aim at providing motivation and inspiration to pupils in becoming role models and responsible citizens in society. They shall embark on school to school sensitization campaigns in order to fuse the passion and sense of responsibility in the learners.
Morris is a Sierra Leonean musician, actor, a model and a fashion designer based in Freetown. He has been featured in so many movies and has released several albums.
