On Monday 2nd June 2014 at about 2:30 a.m. a lecturer named Mr. Kallay Mansaray was ransacked by masked robbers who went away with a colossal sum of Le 54 million.

When the masked robbers entered Mr. Mansaray’s house in the early hours demanding the said money, neighbours around Lecturer Mansaray’s apartment started calling other people around the area for help through their mobile phones; after hearing dogs barking and noise in their neighbour’s apartment.

Reports have it that the lecturer had just cashed the said amount to purchase an intended vehicle, unknown to him an insider had told robbers about the money.  He went to bed and just few hours later heard a noise around his house.  He later realized that he was under attack just when all residents at Kortright had turned off their generators and the area was in total darkness.

Neighbours confirmed to this medium that they heard a lot of noise with their dogs barking and running here and there.

The manner in which the robbers demanded the said money from Mr. Mansaray clearly signifies that they had an insider. The robbers demanded for Mr. Mansaray’s Le 54 million as if they owned it.  Sources told SEM that the robbers further threatened residents saying “if they make any attempt to inform the police the family should be ready to wear black,” said the residents.

Information reaching this press said one of the robbers was fortunately recognized by the housemaid who later informed Mr. Mansaray.  The robber was identified and later arrested, who turned out to be one of the popular night robbers and a son of a well known lecturer and Head of Department at FBC.

Residents of the FBC Community are calling on the government to help them with more security personnel and also with electricity as the area at night is terribly a dead zone making it a safe heaven for armed robbers.
