AIG Memunatu Konteh, Next IGP . . .
The Assistant Inspector General of police Freetown East, Memunatu B Konteh (in photo) has made a strong statement about the status and stance she will continue to institute discipline in the police force against lawlessness.
AIG Memunatu said that with her vast experience in her police career and training courses in different institutions both national and international, will not sit by and wait for a British or American police to come and implement which will be a slap in her face.
AIG Memunatu B Konteh is a certificate holder of:

“Having all this experience, I will not allow foreign police officers with similar rank as I am to come and implement security strategy which I am capable of doing with the support of my bosses and the Police council”.
AIG Konteh furthered that lawlessness and indiscipline have become the order of the day in Sierra Leone, which she said is her target.
“Because of my disciplinary actions against lawlessness of our youths in both sexes, they are now calling me Mr. Memuna, some call me Memuna Ebola, but let them call me all sort of name, as far as I am doing the right thing for my conscience and the oath I took while joining the Sierra Leone Police force and also for the sake of my country, I will do more”, said AIG Memuna
Speaking with some residents in the Fourah Bay community, they thank the government for sending a Police officer like Memunatu B Konteh, whose presence within the eastern district has drastically reduced crime rates, especially in the Kanikay, Up-gun turn table, Mabella, Magazine, Fire stone, Black Hall road and some notorious hide outs of criminals and lawless hoodlums, residents can now go to sleep in peace.
AIG Memunatu B Konteh further said that the Sierra Leone Police is the best force in the sub- region as rated by international standards and on that note, she will not allow criminal and fraudsters to overcome them with their criminal and lawless behaviours.
Decent and sober minded Sierra Leoneans are commending the good job and effort AIG Menunatu B Konteh is doing, and they have the strength to join hands with her as Local Police Partnership Board to make sure that the eastern part of Freetown became a crime free area.
