Momoh Konte embarks on another development project for Kabala
Economist, businessman, philanthropist, and true son of the soil, Sierra Leonean born, Momoh K. Konte (in photo) is set to kick off yet another mega million project in his home town of Kabala, Koninadugu district in the northern part of Sierra Leone.
This is a project the people of Kabala have been seeking for help to bring to fruition for many years and it is closely and surely set to become another historic moment for the great people of not only Kabala but Koinadugu as a whole.
Only recently President Ernest Bai Koroma commissioned three schools built and equipped in the district by the popular businessman and philanthropist, Mr. Momoh Konte. Wherein the president described Mr. Momoh Konte as a fine patriot, adding he wanted to see more Sierra Leoneans emulating Momoh Konte’s kindness, selflessness, and generosity.
In addition to providing the three schools, Momoh Konte is recognized as a philanthropist who is always ready to help the poor and needy whenever and wherever he met them. Only last year, he donated the sum of Leone 30 million to the Kabala Secondary School to assist underprivileged children and funded scholarships to five young Sierra Leoneans to pursue degree courses in India.
Mr. Momoh Konte sees it fit to help the children as his own contribution to the development of education in the Koinadugu District and believes that all children should have a right to an education.
