DTO Lansana Njagbandi raised Le 46.1 million in 2013
The District Traffic Officer (DTO) of the Congo Cross Police Station, ASP Lansana Njagbandi, has disclosed that since from January to June last year his station generated Le46.1 million in Court fines related to traffic offences and accidents by vehicles.
He assured the public that this time around they are ensuring that reckless drivers especially Poda poda drivers who want to take the law in their hands will be put under effective control.
In an interview with a cross section of residents of Congo Cross, they told this Reporter that the Police is doing good work in their community.
They explained that criminals within the community are facing very serious challenges as the head of the Police Operational Wing, Assistant Superintendent of Police Bangalie and his team are chasing them and making their night activities very difficult to carry out.
They also paid tribute to the outgoing Local Unit Commander Superintendent Mohamed Jobe who they say worked hard to bring sanity to the Police Station and the community.
