Kadie Buya rallies support for President Koroma in London

Newly elected outspoken Women’s leader of the ruling All People’s Congress (APC) United Kingdom/Northern Ireland Branch, has said she will rally her fellow women to support and boost President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma’s Agenda For Change.

Kadijatu Buya Kamara said President Koroma’s Agenda For Change is worth supporting because the President has made significant achievements since taking over the reigns of power and called on every well-meaning Sierra Leonean to rally behind him to take Sierra Leone forward.

“It’s about time we rally behind our President and give him the support he so needed to take our country to the promise land,” Kadie Buya said.

Having just been re-elected to the enviable position of Women’s Leader of the APC UK/Northern Ireland Branch, Buya called on her fellow women to come together behind their husbands for the betterment of Sierra Leone.

She said she intends to inspire and motivate her colleagues to come out of their slumber and work hard for the progress of the ruling party.

At the APC meeting over the weekend, Kadie Buya took the jam-packed hall by storm when she said they as women are no longer going to leave the destiny of their party and country at the hands of the men alone.

“We demand to work side by side with you to support our President and move our country forward,” Buya said amidst thunderous applause.

Buya said they are no longer going to allow themselves to be treated in isolation because, “we are the best politicians who can easily influence members of the public.”

Buya said henceforth, they are going to amplify their voices loud and clear to motivate their male counterparts for the survival of the APC and Sierra Leone.

She said as a party, their aim is to make Sierra Leone a country they can run to, not one they can runaway from.
