‘I have dedicated my 2013 golf open trophy to my wife,’ Hector Macauley
The Champion of the 2013 Golf Open in the Amateur Category A level, Mr. Hector Macauley, has told this press that he was delighted in winning such a prestigious glittering gold trophy which he said he has dedicated to his beautiful, caring and lovely wife, Madam Kadie Macauley as a way of showing love and appreciation to her for contributing to his successes in Golf and all that he does. He told this press during celebration time at his Jes-Ka Mac Hotel at Lumley on Thursday, December 5 this year.
“My wife is so dear to me and she is the brain behind my success in golf and business and I always want to be grateful to her for the honesty, dedication, hard work and with the help of God Almighty, we’ll continue to be loyal to one another till death do us part,” the newly crowned Champion boasted.
In the Professional Category it was the Ghanaian legend, Amos Korblah who won the star prize of $10,000.00 and a gold trophy.
About 100 golfers took part in both the Professional and Amateur tournaments which climaxed on Sunday, December 1, at the Freetown Golf Club, Beach Road, Lumley, west of the capital city, Freetown.
