London Mining Signs Collective Bargaining Agreement

Freetown – (18 November 2013) – London Mining management team statement

London Mining is pleased to announce the Mining Trade Group Council of which the company is a member has concluded negotiations with the United Mine Workers’ Union (UMU) on the terms and conditions of service for mine workers below supervisory level and signed the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

The agreement shall be effective 1st October 2013 and shall be in force for a period of three years.

London Mining Management fully supports the process and confirms its commitment to the joint industry wide agreement governing the welfare of its staff.
