ACC files an Appeal on the State Vs. Kisito Daoh and Two Others Judgement
The Anti-Corruption Commission has on the 14th day of November 2013, filed an appeal against the judgment handed down by the Hon. Justice Abdulai Hamid Charm in the High Court of Freetown on the matter relating to the State vs. Kisito Daoh and two others (Mr. Edward Bai Kamara and Dr. Duramani Conteh).
It will be recalled that on the 7th of March 2013, the ACC filed an indictment against the accused persons for the misuse of donor funds from the Gavi Alliance to the Health Sector meant for improved access and resolving major constraints to immunization delivery.
The Commission wishes to assure the general public that it shall not relent in the pursuit of its mandate to fight corruption and to ensure that justice is served and that the rule of law is upheld at all times.
