Sweet Rose goes for ‘Miss General’ Beauty Crown
One of Sierra Leone’s rising stars, Rosetta Njawa, also known as Sweet Rose, will on December 14 this year take the stage at the popular Eastern Paddies Night Club to compete with other young beautiful ladies in the race to clinch the Miss General 2013 Beauty Crown.
The event which the General Social Club is organizing is said to aim at promoting respect among women who are expected to be leading in the contribution to the development of this country.
According to Sweet Rose, she said that leading, singing, dancing, modeling, and Journalism are acts that she enjoys participating in and that she believes in working hard and using the right podium to promote herself as a role model in the country.
A Senior Secondary School 4 pupil of the Government Model Senior Secondary School at Berry Street in Freetown, she also said that she desires to be the most outstanding pupil from her school.
“Women and girls need positive inspiration to help them from being involved in malpractices as a means of their survival,” Sweet Rose opined.
She revealed that at the competition she will talk about the rights of children and the need to help the vulnerable people especially children.
She also revealed that her father, popular King of Pop, General Sfano, has consented to perform with her in two of his songs, ‘My Diva’ and ‘Show me yours.’
Sweet Rose further disclosed that she was featured in her father’s musical album ‘I’m back with Sweet Rose’ in 2005 in a song, ‘Misosola’.
She appealed to all for support to make her win the coveted crown.
