‘I will do more to promote football in my community’ Umaru Bayor vows

Popular football philanthropist, Mr. Umaru Bayor (in photo), has told this paper that he is a fan of football and that his door will always be open to promote football within the Number Nine community at Wilberforce, west of the capital city of Freetown.

The dynamic gentleman made this pronouncement recently during his grand finale which he sponsored at the Number Nine playing ground.

“I have done a lot to promote football within my community and I am prepared to do more as my own contribution in nation building through football as the youths who have the energy to play football are the direct beneficiaries,” he disclosed.

In the just concluded Umaru Baryoh Football Competition, the organizers were very grateful to him for sponsoring the two month inter-community competition that ended peacefully and colourfully.
