One minute with God

With Evangelist Albert Macauley

Mark 9: 23 teaches us that, “All things are possible to him who believes!” Spiritually speaking, when you and I believes something, we receive it into our hearts. If a physical manifestation is needed, it will come after we have believed, not before.

In the world we are taught to believe what we see. In God’s Kingdom, we must learn to believe first, and then in due course, manifestation will take place of what we have believed.

As such, I am going to reveal the three principles of personal response to God that equals to ability (to be response-able).

  1. Act on God’s principle and not passion. Proverbs 14:12 teaches us that, “There is a way that seems right to a man and appears straight before him, but at the end it is the way of death.” In other words, we must apply God’s holy principle to our actions.
  2. Submission is the only way to accomplish God’s mission in our lives. We must listen to the voice of God to learn something. A submitted attitude will become your heart’s desire. Declare war on status quo and be perfect in whatever you do. (See Ecclesiastes 9:10).
  3. Be thankful to God for today and be prepared for tomorrow. Thank God for His great and abundant mercy! His mercies are new every morning. (See Lamentation 3:22-23). Surely we would all live miserable, defeated, wretched lives separated from God if it was not for His compassion and  willingness to forgive us our numerous sins.

With God all things are possible and with man it is possible if only we are response-able to God to give us the ability to do the impossible through faith. Fully expect God’s protection for the days of evil are ahead. God is our refuge and strength. His word is a strong tower where we run into for comfort. (See Psalm 91:1-16).

Therefore, your willingness to response is based on accepting responsibility to depend on God for guidance. For our God is able and more than able to carry you and give you perfect rest!

Until we meet again, may the peace and blessings of the Lord Jesus Christ always be with you.

Amen.
