Sierra Leone Roads Authority – Public Notice
This Publication is to notify the General Public as well as interested and project affected persons/parties that the Sierra Leone Roads Authority, funded by the European Union, has conducted an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) study for the Reconstruction/Rehabilitation of Moyamba Junction to Moyamba Town and Four Bridges (Mabang Bridge, Magbele Bridge, Gbangbama Bridge and Bailey Bridge)
The exercise was done with a view to minimize the potential negative environmental and social impact of the project, in compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency Act 2008 as amended in 2010.
The presentation and discussion of the report will be made at various locations in the respective project areas. The general public, stakeholders and project affected persons/parties are hereby cordially invited to the final consultation and disclosure meetings to be held on the following dates and venues:
Wednesday, 6th November, 2013 – SLRA Conference Room, Freetown – 9.00am
Thursday, 7th November, 2013 – Songo Community Centre, Mabang – 10.00am
Thursday, 7th November, 2013 – Magbele Community Centre, Magbele – 3.00pm
Friday, 8th November, 2013 – Moyamba Community Centre, Moyamba – 10.00am
