Catching up with Sierra Leone’s male super model, Adrian Vincent

Since our last exclusive interview with super model Adrian Vincent, he has continued to keep busy despite having a major setback in August where he was involved in an accident which broke his jaw in two places, where he had to undergo surgery and now has titanium plates holding his jaw together; meaning he couldn’t work for 6 weeks. He was due to appear as an extra in a Hollywood movie but had to relinquish his position which was very upsetting for him, but he hasn’t let this beat him, he remained positive and upbeat!

After recuperating from his injuries, he appeared in a couple of television commercials as an extra which are shown on prime time TV in the United Kingdom. And, once again appeared in catwalk shows for London Fashion Week; most recently he walked in a show for the Prince’s Trust.

In September, Adrian attended the BEFFTA Awards Nomination Ceremony and was greatly surprised to have been nominated for the Best Male Model Award, the winner of this prestigious award will be announced at the official BEFFTA Awards ceremony on 25th/26th October, 2013 http://www.beffta.com/news/ . If he is lucky enough to win this award it will hopefully open many more doors for him in the modelling industry.
