Update On Sierra Leonean Muslim Pilgrims
The 920 Sierra Leonean pilgrims that left the country from the 1st to the 6th of October to Makkah have completed major rites of their Hajj. They have covered so far Mina, Arafah, Muzdalifah and slaughtering of sacrificial lambs respectively. (PhotoL Female pilgrims in Arafah)
They are to come back to the Holy City of Makkah on Friday October 17 where they will undertake 7 times circumambulation of the Ka’abah and 7 times walk between Safaa and Marwah respectively to mark the of this year’s Hajj activity.
A week after that they will leave Makkah for Madina to do Ziyarah (visitation) to the Holy Prophet’s Mosque, Quba Mosque and mount Uhud.
All the pilgrims are in good health and they are supposed to be at home by the 7th and 8th of November in Sha Allah.
