Sierra Leoneans complete the 5 Pillars of Islam

More than 1,000 Muslim pilgrims from Sierra Leone have today completed one of the Five Pillars of Islam after spending the whole day in Mount Arafat.

As the sun set, the pilgrims proceeded to Al Muzdalifa where they spend the night yesterday.

This morning at sunrise, Sierra Leoneans started to invoke the name of Allah (Labbaik, Allahumma Lbbaik). The ceremony  continued with the throwing of  stones at the Jamarat and the shaving of heads later in the afternoon.
