Base De Preacher to Release New Album!

Ibrahim Austin Kenneh (in photo) popularly known as Base De Preacher has said that his new musical album title ‘Bear Me’ is completed and set to be released soon to the public.

Born in Bandawo, a small town located in the eastern region of Sierra Leone, the Afro-beat singer said that his 10 track musical album is expected to hit the local music industry adding that the production of the songs in the studios he recorded are satisfactory.

Base the Preacher disclosed that he recorded his songs in Total and Lama Studios in Freetown and that he will tour the country to promote his style of music to all indigenes.

Kenneh disclosed that he lost his parents when he was a very small boy and that as an orphan, he will dedicate proceeds from his musical album and shows to identified orphans in the country.

Base De Preacher said that he is encouraging Sierra Leonean musicians to be patriotic in their lyrical approach adding that building a decent character of a profession should be the focus of all local artistes.

Meanwhile, the afro-beat singer is said to be concluding agreements with one of the most effective marketers of local music products.

Base De Preacher said that he is calling on the attention of marketers of products of local musicians and dramatists to help kill the act of dubbing and piracy in the country adding that respect for a popular artiste rely on the financial status of the individual.

“I wish to thank my fans and close friends for their support and hope to make impact in the local and international music entertainment industry”, Kenneh said.
