BKPS to be dragged to court

Speaking to this reporter in a meeting called by the deputy Minister of Energy and Power Hon. Bash Kamara at the Bo-Kenema Power Services (BKPS) head office in Bo to look at the conditions of electricity supply for both for the southern and eastern provinces, the CEO of Diversified Waste to Power/NEVADA Sierra Leone Dr. Momodu Conteh said as an institution they have fulfilled their own part by bringing their machines to the country. Adding that his institution has spent twenty million dollars ($20million) and they are to spend another twenty five million dollars ($25million) on the project, noting that his institution has brought five megawatt termer (5MW) machine.

Dr. Momodu Conteh reiterated that there are two of these thermal machines presently in the power house of the Bo-Kenema Power Services (BKPS) at Tikonko road in Bo city, southern Sierra Leone awaiting operation. “The CEO of Bo-Kenema Power Services (BKPS) James Rogers does not want my institution to take over the supply of electricity for the people in the south and the east with quality electricity and my institution have spent huge money and I will not seat and watch that money go down the drain but rather I will take legal action against the CEO of Bo-Kenema Power Services (BKPS) James Rogers and his so call Bo-Kenema Power Services (BKPS)” he concluded.

When contacted the CEO of Bo-Kenema Power Services (BKPS) James Rogers said indeed his intuition signed an agreement with the CEO of Diversified Waste to Power/NEVADA Sierra Leone Dr. Momodu Conteh to supply electricity but that he is pleading to the CEO of Diversified Waste to Power/NEVADA Sierra Leone Dr. Momodu Conteh not to take legal action as his institution is putting measures in place.
