Unlicensed bulldozer claims one life at Water Quay
Latest report reaching this press alleges that one of the bulldozer machines belonging to Bolloree West Africa Logistics at the Queen Elizabeth II Quay has claimed the life of one Bangura residing at Kissy Bye Pass Old Road in Freetown.
According to our source, during the last general cleaning, the driver of the French company, said to be operating many unlicensed equipment at Water Quay, was in operation when unfortunately the driver, a Mr. Bangalie got involved in an accident and later handed himself to the police.
Meanwhile, the deceased has all ready been buried but the one million dollar unanswered question at the moment is, why the Sierra Leone Road Transport Authority (SLRTA), a creditable institution that is charged with the responsibility to ensure that all vehicles and machinery operating in country obtain licenses before they use the roads overlooked this matter.
However, many concerned citizens have raised their dissatisfaction over the ugly incident that took place over the weekend.
