ACC weds 3 CSOs in the fight against corruption
The anti-graft commission has wedded three civil society organizations against the fight on corruption.
The epoc-making event which was organized by the ACC at their Conference Hall last Wednesday attracted several personalities including the three civil society organizations to empower them in the fight against graft.
The three civil society organisations that signed an MOU with ACC are: The Technical Enhancement Awareness Movement (Team), Campaign Against Tax Evasion (CATE) and the Youth Empowerment Development Organization (YEDA).
According to the ACC boss, Mr. Joseph F. Kamara, fighting against corruption is a great challenge not only for the ACC but all of us as responsible citizens.
However the matter of corruption is a fight that all of us should join hands in gloves in ensuring this dream became a thing of reality.
The ACC boss said he was highly confident that his commission with the support with all and sundry will ensure corruption is rid of in our institutions, pointing out that the three (3) civil society organizations will ensure their vision and focused is accomplished.
Several personalities made meaningful contributions during the one day ceremony.
In his contribution as the co-ordinator of Youth Empowerment Development Organization, Mr. Idriss Amza Kamara thanked the ACC and his able team for recognizing them through and MOU that now empowers them to take the lead in addressing corruption cases and promised that they will do their outmost best.
