Tumac facelifts Texaco Police Post
The Texaco Police Post formerly called Clay Factory Police Post in the east end of capital Freetown is currently under a full scale refurbishment, a project worth over eighty million Leones financed by popular business man and philanthropist Dr. Mohamed Tunde Macarthy, proprietor of the Tumac group of companies.
In an exclusive interview with the visionary business mogul, Dr. Macarthy pointed out that consistent with his corporate social responsibility and as a true patriot of this country, he has deemed it necessary as well as fit to contribute to the government’s development agenda.
He stressed that it is high time Sierra Leoneans subscribe meaningfully towards the growth and development of their homeland, adding that “consider what you can do for mama Salone and not what the country can do for you”.
Dr. Macarthy furthered that it is his desire to be part and parcel of the development trend currently taking place in the country and what he is embarking on is his humble contribution towards the President’s Agenda for Prosperity.
The business mogul highlighted some of the development strides that he has already undertaken and completed, ranging from the construction of fences around the Kissy Mess Mess and Race Course Road cemeteries respectively.
He promised to further undertake other meaningful projects as and when they are necessary and entreated other well meaning citizens to emulate such good examples.
Dr. Tunde Marcathy has provided a brand new generator and has constructed an extension office, with toilet facilities for male and female and also electrified the whole police post.
In his reaction on behalf of the Inspector General and the entire Sierra Leone Police Force, Regional Commander Freetown East AIG Alfred Karrow Kamara described the gesture as laudable and patriotic. He implored other well meaning Sierra Leoneans to emulate the good examples of Dr. Tunde Macarthy and prayed for success in his endeavors and business venture.
