Speaking to hundreds of traders at the ceremony, Hon. Pateh Bah said he took up the venture as part of promises he made during his election campaign, adding that it was a commitment he thought fit to fulfill as erosion was affecting the market, making access to the market very difficult for the people.

The parliamentarian said he used his own money to undertake the rehabilitation and assured his constituents of many of such developments in his constituency.

Speaking on the occasion, the youth leader, Kabba Kallie assured the MP of their support, adding that the rehabilitation work will soon be completed as the youth are prepared to expend their time and energy to the rehabilitation effort by providing the man power.

Chairlady of the Waterloo market, Mahuma Fofanah expressed her appreciation of the effort of Hon. Pateh Bah for helping them rehabilitate the muddy road leading to the market, saying Hon Pateh Bah was the first MP to come to their aid.

She welcomed the good work and assured that all marketers will continue to give their support to him.

The village headman of Waterloo, Denis O. Browne thanked their Member of Parliament for his effort, adding that as village headman he will work with the MP to realize his dreams.
